I run the black diamond dropped pittman arm with a 3" lift and stock length shackles and my drag link and tie rods are paralell. I doubt the pittman arm would get bent down if you hit a stump. i could see it getting bent up with a good enough wack, but not down. besides, those things are...

ohh yeah, by the way the person you want to talk to at Rough country is Mr. Green. Take pics because your gonna need em. On the first set of bad springs i installed they were about 1" from the bump stops. After very mild wheeling they were sitting on the bumpstop.

i had this same problem with a couple sets of springs form rough country a few months back.. do a search, you'll find my posts. I will NEVER recommend or sell another set of rough country springs again. In my opinion Rough country kits for yj's and cj's aren't worth the cardboard they come in...

I have for sale an 83 cj7 with 119,000 original miles. It has 1 piece rear axle conversion, webber 32/36 carb conversion, 3" black diamond suspension lift, 1" poly body lift, sway bar disco's, bushwacker cut out's, new balljoints and u joints all the way around, new drag link and tie rod...

the baja claws are gonna make the bfg's look stupid off road. I've been running the baja claws on and off road for about 2 years now and i won't use any other tire. They kick ass in the sand at the beach, and do the same in mudd and snow.
