My 98 is throwing this code IAC (AIS) Motor circuit shorted the scanner has a test for AIS ,& I can scoll idle speed up & down.. Kind of confused ,,If the circuit was shorted ,,would the test still work?... Thanks for any light you may shed on this ... Rick...

Switched the two relays, walked around to the door, horn didn't work,, Cleared the codes , so far so good.... Thanks so much for the help.... Rick....

Can anyone point me to a list of codes ,or tell me what this one means ,(no asd out put at PCM.... the scanner is telling me 3 out of 4 injector circuits ... Thanks , Rick...

Thanks Bob, Engine type is a carburated 258 not what came in it, it is a 4 speed auto now & very small at that. might be a 727 or a 904 w lockup or a 909. I'll keep looking ,though there isn't anything marked on it that I can see. Thanks , Rick.

I have a cobbled up 89 yj ,the previous owner changed eveything. Now I need to identify the trans to replace it. The problem is that it could be anything. Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated Thanks , Rick
