These fans are known for moving more air than any other easily swappable electric fan. I have them for my Commando and Corvette. Fast, cool, and quiet.

When you say a bit of pressure, how much is a bit? Are you an Olympic leg press medal holder? Are you applying even pressure over a period of time and the pedal continuest to travel to the floor, or are you applying increasing pressure to the point that the pedal then travels to the floor...

You should have grabbed the fuse box, too. If you check the pin-out you will have "extra" and/or "missing" pins (depending on if you are checking the cable or the fuse box). The options that the donor vehicle came with will most likely be totally different, and pins will need to be relocated...

A lot of vehicles do not come with the donut from the factory. Everything is fresh and new and as long as it is kept in good shape (literally) you won't need a donut. However, since 'wheeling requires a fair bit of vibration, twisting, stretching, etc., the donut is a good path.

Copperheads are not "common" but not unheard of in Tidewater, but don't get nearly that large and don't need to. I saw two in ten years there. I've seen cottonmouth that big when canoing, biking, kayaking etc. You usually give them a wide berth.

JC Whitney and Jegs both sell some great heat blocking matting. I used the adhesive spray they also sell to stick it down. I used that in my Commando and it worked great. I lived in VA in the summer and had the same issue. I didn't need the truck and road heat adding to the misery from above...

I fell into that situation when I lived there many times. If the inspector is a real stickler the universal will fail as well because it is not OEM. Don't ask me why it makes a difference, but it's in the inspection guide. That's why Big Al's, Merchants, etc. will only use OEM type...
