  • Sorry for the late reply--haven't been on here in a while. It's been a while since I've been to Windrock, and the trails keep changing. Sometimes they get eroded and harder, and sometimes they get graded and no fun at all. I've ridden trail 3, which used to be pretty good, but I don't know what shape it's in now. Trail 16 used to be fun but very wet. I think it's still doable. Unfortunately, I don't have a lot of current information. I haven't been to Windrock since Dec. of 2007.

If you haven't already, check out the Tennessee Virtual Jeep Club at tnvjc (dot) org. There are a bunch of good guys on there with moderately built Jeeps. One of the members is from Sweetwater. He owns a coffee shop there called something like the Espresso Express. Go in an introduce yourself sometime. If you go to our web site, you'll see that we have a ride to Sparta, TN planned (Golden Mountain OHV park) for Memorial Day weekend. Come on along--the more, the merrier.
