Schumaker SE-2158 rollaround charger/tester. Had it for close to twenty years, and it charges everything from my ATV to a semi. 2/10/50 amp charger, 125/225 amp tester.

Actually, the 715 had a Tornado Six, not a Hurricane. And, i suspect part of the reason they (and the 37) were so slow was because of the low axle ratios. But they were very capable, and the military generally doesn't move real fast anyway. Heck, my M-151 will do about 65 going downhill..

Had a lot of experience with both the 715 and the M37 in the service. Biggest issue with the 715's was the Hurricane Six engine. Overhead cam, but you could never get the gaskets to stay sealed. I had a buddy back in Austin that had a 715 with a 350 in it, and that was what it needed, IMO. BTW...

Sounds like a "shift" light...but i don't know if those are equipped with something like that or not..
