I HATE my Dana 35! Why would Jeep put in a weak-unreliable piece of crap? :twisted: Okay, okay after re-reading my post, that may be a little harsh, but Jeep ought to know almost everyone wants to go 33's or bigger and if you do much rock crawling / off roading the dana 35 will break!

You may want to look at a Full Traction 3 inch economy lift, very good reviews and comes with a adjustable front track bar.

I have way too much time on my hands (due to not being able to afford to drive it as much as what I want to) I like to keep my banged up--scratched up Jeep as clean as possible. Makes it a lot easier to clean up after the trails.

I'M sick about spending the money for gas, but going to Fair Play CO. with three-four other couples July 19, to do some trails. About a 2000 mile round trip but we all figure we won't be able to afford it all next year. :?|

I would install a 1" body lift---it's not to hard---and your going to need all the room you can get if you disconnect your front sway bar and take it off road.

After going through most of the replies, I'M depressed now---I'M old! The wife and I will be 44 in a couple of months and my daughter is 17 and my son is 10.

The "make your own" disconnects works very well for me :mrgreen:
