hello all,
just mounted 33" tires on my 2005 rubicon, fill the wells and looks great!
they rub on the lower control arm and grind the flares after a big bump when i crank the wheel
ordered the rubicon express 2" budget boost and jks discos
any advice on the install? and would adding wheel spacers help?
also, won a ramsey 9500ut winch at jamboree in bradford!
any advice on the install for that?
thanx

i saw your writeup, and that's why i decided on this lift
although i'm going to use boots instead of converse on the springs
i'll get some pics up in the next few days
and thanx

I had planned on using boots, but Chuck from Muddy Rocks Offroad talked me out of them. Shock boots do a couple of things wrong:
1. Trap rocks and debris
2. Trap moisture
3. Prevent you from seeing a leaky shock

installed the re 2" bb this past weekend
5695 is before, with 33" tires on stock jeep (1.5" from tire to fender)
5706 is after, with the spacers, shocks and jks discos (4" now from tire to fender!, it's about 7" in the rear)
5710 is the ramsey 9500 ut winch i won at penn's woods jamboree (have to install the remote yet)
your online instruction were fantastic, took only 4 hours, only problem was the tops of the front shocks...had to torch the nuts off
i also have to adjust the turn stops so i don't grind the tires

You could adjust your steering stops to keep from rubbing your lower control arms at full lock.
