again, it's an air bubble you risk running extremely low in the tank.

running low on gas can give you filter problems because of air getting drawn in. and just because not CEL codes are thrown, and you have strong exhaust pulse at pipe, doesn't mean cat isn't clogged. i checked all around mine last time and had a hard time diagnosing the same symptoms as yours...

You're gonna need a new battery. Your battery only has a limited lifespan in it, and one rule of themb is that every full discharge is an automatic third of that lifespan. Won't hurt to have that other mess checked for free, but the battery is most likely the entire problem, unless it's...

and yeah, at best tune on that setup, you'll still have issues keeping up with tractor trailers a lot of places. not saying there aren't things that could be fixed, but not keeping up at highway speeds on that four-banger is not necessarily a sign of something not working as designed.
