its 80 cj7 i have heard these are pontiac? iron duke? leakers but last forever if you dont over rev em. i just want mine to pull mild hills at 50mph in 4th, i only have 31'' tires and gearing seems good for 60-65mph cruise so really dont want to go lower.

anyone done anything to get a little more out of there 2.5? i understand this is pontiac? mine has 98k and is solid and very stock would like to do header, cam and maybee carb want to know if its worth it and if anyone knows of sources for these parts

80 cj7 had 2 months, tried everything. does not return to center point and it stays. steering wheel feels like tires are on ground even on jack stands power makes it driveable but corrections are jerky and over 50 scary. have done 2 reman boxes tried loosening both gets more slop thats it. did...
