gm 2.5 (151) upgrades, header? cam?

anyone done anything to get a little more out of there 2.5? i understand this is pontiac? mine has 98k and is solid and very stock would like to do header, cam and maybee carb want to know if its worth it and if anyone knows of sources for these parts

What year and model jeep? Lots of 4banger mods available but they're pretty specific to year range.

its 80 cj7 i have heard these are pontiac? iron duke? leakers but last forever if you dont over rev em. i just want mine to pull mild hills at 50mph in 4th, i only have 31'' tires and gearing seems good for 60-65mph cruise so really dont want to go lower.

The gearing may seem good but the 4banger likes to rev high, a regear may be your best option for getting power back with larger tires. What is the axle ratio now?
