Hey all! So i relocated to a new house, and things have been hectic since i got married and such, the short-block is built, but being stored. I have tons of parts, but need time to assemble it. Will need to get it repainted and some rust repair done, but im putting everything together still.

I basically started the title replacement process... Since my pops lost it, and we think my grandfather shredded it when he lost his marbles and was staying with him. Sooooo that's fun! lol

would this work? grabbing a head off this block and matching it up? you can see the rockers and pushrods are off kilter, but id imagine that slightly altering the block could allow for the clearance issue. it appears to be similar spacing with the similar 10 bolts. im just spit balling here, but...

Anyone got a 2004 to 2006 rear axle assembly? preferable the 4.11 gearing with tru-lock? i figured while im at it, i can put that in as well. Please message me with one in the chicago illinois area! a used one would be most cost effective for me and i can refresh it here at my garage no issue.

I have seen them. But there's no pictures or documentation. Also it seems like everyone stopped short and doesn't actually complete the postings. Or gives up on the project entirely.

My local machine shop is also excited about this to. My girlfriend isn't too excited she thinks it's a waste of money. I simply told her it's not her problem. But her dad is pretty excited about it. Lol

So this is the legit build up of the 2.5L, every post i see has no updates and frankly its annoying. (Just being honest) My plan is to refresh and rebuild this block after critical failures i've discovered. Previously before i had time in my day, i had a shop replace my cracked factory block...

Wilwoods need the 16 in rims, I'm curious if there's any luck with stuff on a factory 15 wheel.

I should have been more clear. It is for the 2000 TJ. The 2.5L is coming out this summer. Waiting on some parts to come in. But big brakes will be needed.

Anyone put a big brake kit on their jeepster? I put some guts into it and now she stops like a speedboat... it doesn't... lol anyone have ideas? I've looked into 4 wheel disc conversions and big front brake kits. What's your best luck? What worked with 15in wheels? Should I use wilwoods and run...

I grabbed mine from a liberty. Then grabbed a wiring harness that goes to the fuse block and then relayed it in the block using an unused port and tied it into the temp sensor. Don't have to have to do anything for a total of 100 bucks in parts using a used fan from an 03 liberty.
