I didn't use the winch my controller is inop right now so I was using a tow cable Dry test as in lift up the front and turn the wheel and all that? That was gonna be my first move I didn't think about breaking the frame though I will definitely check that

First off hey everyone I'm back again it's been a real long while this time... Been deployed again and all kinda of stuff that have kept me out of the loop. And I guess the biggest thing is I got rid of the yj, one of the hardest things I've ever done, now I've upgraded to a 98 Sahara, i guess...

Well I have an 88 1/2 so I have the ax15 trans the 231 transfer case and the galvanized steel frame... The ax15 is supposed to be the only jeep transmission worth using with a 350 The fun don't begin until the road ends!

I'm pretty sure it is a turbo 350 trans so I'm gonna get a bell housing off of eBay that's the cheapest place I'm finding them... I wish there was somewhere that sold a full kit for my application but I haven't found anything like that so I'm gonna have to get my parts individually The fun...

Well I can weld but I don't trust my abilities enough to make the motor mounts myself lol just enough to weld them in... Also another question that just hit me I know I have to get the clutch retrofit kit and all that for the swap but what about the bell housing coming off the donor vehicle it's...

The transmission is shot in the donor vehicle :/ The fun don't begin until the road ends!

Posted recently about swapping a Chevy 350 into my jeep using Novak adapter parts... I am about to start ordering parts and I was wondering if anybody has done this before and knows which I should order and which parts I can retain... I have an old k5 blazer I'm pulling the motor, bell housing...

I have diamond plate aluminum doors on me yj noise is not a problem as long as you put some type of weather stripping around the edges
