The fuse is good. If I disconnect the power at the tank and hookup a voltage meter, what should be the reading comming from the battery? Should it be 12volts?

Is there a way to test the pump w/o having to drop the tank? I would like to aliminate the possibility of a bad wire between the battery and the pump, so I'm thinking of some way to connect the battery right to the pump. Could I do that?

Should I hear the pump running even if the line is bad? How obvious can you hear the pump and will it run until I turn the key off?
