I would say put some lock-tite on and give it a try and see if it does it again....Sounds like the bolt is backing out .....and snapping...:)

I would just say drop the transmission and transfer case ...which you will have to disconect all clutch linkage and pull the starter anyway and get you a new one ....I would look at getting a new flywheel ring (the teeth) and having the flywheel resufaced at a auto store...A total new flywheel...

Are you checking to see if they are losening after a while of driving ....is it the bolt or the head that is shearing off???

I would say a ignition switch problem try fixing that ...I had problems with mine a while back it was that and the starter....:)

Hmmmmmm something else is wrong the bolts shouldn't be shearing ??? How many miles can you go before it happens???

Ya but you are going to spend a ton on adapters..:)

What does the other side look like ??? Are you tourqeing them properly ??? Take a look at the engine when someone else pushes on the gas ...see if it moves towards the passenger side...:)

I would say to check the retaining clip that holds the seal in place if it took a pretty good wack it might have just popped it off...:)

Do you still have them ??? What year and model wrangler will they fit???

Are you sure you want to go with a 16" rim ???? Not many jeepers on the trails with 16" rims if you need to get a tire to make it off the trail/.... $.02
