Does anyone know how big of an ordeal it is to put a seal kit in a steering box? Mine has been leaking for a few months and I'm just getting tired of adding PS fluid all the time. I've tried the Lucas stop leak and it just hasn't helped. The box is leaking where the steering shaft goes in...

Mine was doing the same thing. I changed out the wheel cylinders and took care of my problem.

Also, if you go with steel, you can fab up your own beadlocks too. :mad:

If I'm not Mistaken, Isn't the factory tint made into the glass as the actual glass is made? If it's just regular film tint, you can peel off the tinted plastic film, then get some soapy water in a spray bottle and a box of good razor blades to remove the glue.

I really like the looks of the Scale models. Very realistic, especially the Jeep bodies and accesories. I've got a truck I built years back. Aluminum Chassis with a 4 link. 2 Mabuchi 540 motors and rear steer. You can take the sway bars off to get more articulation.
