    Differential Whining?

RE: Re: RE: Keep The Smog Stuff Or Not i agree... but if it only does it around a corner i would also suggest checking the wheel bearings, they will act up on a corner if they are going. if it is the ring & pinion, it will do it straight down the road as well. mine has whined for 30k miles and...

    Steam from front end

RE: limited-slip differential? Yes it will. I would look into having it rebuilt.

    limited-slip differential?

if both tires are spinning the problem is too much skinny pedal. Better tires will help too. Limited slip or locker will only help if one tire spins and the other just sits there.

soulds like you have a pinhole leak in one of the cooling fins.

Can i use adeep cycle marine battery on my Jeep?

deep cycle batteries would work good if your jeep is not driven regularly, ut if you drive it weekly, it is a waste of money....

Can i use adeep cycle marine battery on my Jeep?

deep cycle batteries are meant to hold a charge longer when you let them sit, which is why they use them in boats... All boats have an alternator on them to recharge the batteries.

    clicking/popping front end

Optional extras/pressies for my jeep I would take the links off and loosen the mounts onthe frams.. then you should be able to move it. YOu may find that something is bent on the end links, which is why it is off-center.

    Regearing

RE: this may sound stupid... I would say have the gearing done by someone that knows what they are doing. If you don't shim it right, you could cause some headaches for yourself.

    this may sound stupid...

alloy axle shafts DO you have any aftermarket accessories? I'd tart with those... i've seeen where someone pulls power from the wrong circuit or grounds to a non-ground wire.

    Hate to bash, but....

big difference.. you slammed DOWN on the cement at low speed... you did not plow headlong into it at 20MPH. If you watch the video, the breakover angle is somewhere near 60 degrees - way more than the 20 or so that the jeep can handle. I have slammed my skid plate into countless rocks also and...

    Hate to bash, but....

2003 Nissan 350Z Touring Coupe I've got news for you.. your XJ would have the same problem if you did what this guy did. The factory skid plate only protects from low speed impacts, and is designed for you to scrape over a rock slowly.. He hit the top of that hill way too fast. your XJ skid...

    Change Wrangler Serpendine Belt?

RE: clicking/popping front end You have the right location if I am correct but there is a second bolt on the pulley with the slide bracket that needs to be loosened to allow it to slide. I'm going from memory here, but I know the system that you are referring to. It is a 2 bolt adjustment. One...

    clicking/popping front end

RE: overfilling automatic transmission does it click once, more than once? when you start turning the wheel, mid-way, at the end? More details would help diagnose your click. Does it sound like its coming from the axle, steering? Put your head under there while someone turns the wheels and...

    overfilling automatic transmission

Change wrangler Serpendine Belt I wouldn't worry too much about it if you are a little high. Automatic transmissions do not have drain plugs. you have to drop the pan to drain fluid.

    Laptop Stolen

RE: Weber choke not true... yes any cookies will auto log them in to site, but the keystrokes are not logged anywhere. the only real concern is any files in the internet cache, and most sites that you need to login to are secure which means that the data is NOT cached.
