thanks guys, i ran a bead of silicon in the one i have now. just as a quick fix till i get a new one, and yea there is some rust on the frame im going to clean it all up and get some paint on it so it wont come back hopefully.

im looking at the mile marker winches and they have the usual electric ones, then they have the hydraulic ones that run off of the power steering pump. is this good? considering that the hydraulic one is cheaper im looking more at that than the electric one

jps4jeep, how do you only have 3 inches with 36's? i have 8 and i would barely be able to clear 37's

i have the same problem with my '93 yj. i out a full synthetic in it and it still does it just as bad, the only way i see to get rid of it is to get a new transmission or rebuild it

not trying to seem mad just asking but how would 4 inch susp. and 1 inch body be unsafe and look bad? and i know that spring overs are more prone to axle wrap but thats what track bars are for arent they?

what i might do since my jeep has 4 inch springs, 2 inch shackles and a 2 inch body is put normal shackles back on so im back down to 6 inches of lift and maybe cut the body down an inch so im at 5 inches and then do a spring over for a total of 10 inches. that might be the little bit safer...

i want to add the spring over to my 8 inch now. but my driveshaft as it sits now is at such an angle that we had to tilt the back axle and i forgot to update my profile i now have 35" BFG mud terrains, love them.

i have a '93 yj that has 6 inch susp and 2 inch body, i want to do a spring over but if i do i need to do something so that the rear drive shaft is not a a crazy angle. my options are stretch it or get some kind of drop transfer case type of thing. oh and ill have to get new shocks and all right?

I noticed the other day that my front axle when engaged is acting funny. I had my jeep on a fairly steep hill with some flex in the axles and I had it in 4 low. the back wheels would spin and the front left was not (I'm not sure if the front right was spinning) but the front left was shaking...

Im sorry if i offend anyone but to me a liberty if not a REAL JEEP. i have a '93 wrangler thats lifted and locked. my definition of a REAL JEEP is when you pop the hood and see the engine and all its glory, not a bunch of plastic and all that crap. Save your money and buy a REAL JEEP.
