I second most of the comments -- unless you like the art of rebuilding -- and brother do you have some work to do, just pic up something restored. My 74 was a similar basket case, but I enjoy that kind of thing. And I put about $5k into it. Glass tub, 360 rebuild, salvage yard T18/bellhousing...

I agree with jps4jeep. A cheap 4.0 from the salvage yard will work best. All the parts will just bolt in.

I have a shot of my 75. What is different are two additional guages around the speedo. I put in some period SW temp and alt gauges there. You can see my Cobra mic mounted on the dash too.

Need a pair of windshield hinges for 72-5 CJ. I've got the '76 and up on there now, but going back to original windshield setup. Thanks, Bob
