lifting a YJ on a budget

i'm actually getting a lot of rubbing. i already had slight rubbing with my old tires, and they were only slightly bigger than stock (235 i think) as it is right now, they're makin some bad sounds even when i'm not turning (driving straight at slow speeds)

lifting a YJ on a budget

Re: selling my tj , best offer hey guys! so i want to lift my yj a couple inches to accomodate my 31" tires. i'm not a hardcore offroader, nor do i feel like dumping a bunch of money into my jeep (not right now anyway). so what is the best course of action? body lift, shackle lift, add-a-leaf...

    Ran out of Gas

hehe, I did the same thing when I first got my YJ. my mechanic said it was the fuel sending unit or something like that. I didn't bother getting it fixed, I just know to fill the tank every 250-300 kms. :D

    hey everyone!

yep, BC is great. My YJ is my DD (for now) so really all I want to do at this point is lift it a little and stick some 31s on it. I've heard you can't go any bigger than 31s without doin some major work.

    hey everyone!

 contrary to popular belief, us Canucks don't say "eh" all the time ...but i appreciate the humour :D well, first step is a lift, then bigger tires. other than that i'm not really sure. i guess at some point i should get a winch? what do you guys think i should do?
