4wd is all you need....... the limited slip is more for on-road/wet conditions, etc.... just remember that it's not a sports car, and you'll be fine.

you can use the clutch to crawl over rocks...... manual all the way, more control in my opinion...... and get a thumb throttle too......

my clarion in-dash touch screen dvd player crapped out after being in the rain toppless about 25 times! still works 'sorta' but the touch screen partis done.....it plays movies, mp3, cd's, and radio, but i can only adjust the volume with the screen closed, and using the remote...

didn't see any new ones like mine....... but I saw a TON of sweet looking older jeeps that I've never seen, (and probably never will here) when I was in Buenos Aires the last couple of weeks..... a ton of flatties, beach cruiser wagon type deals, etc, etc. I've seen a lot of sweet old...

marine head units is one thing.... but mine has a retractable touch screen (used to be) screen..... like I said.... it's a dvd player. it still plays dvd/mp3 just isn't touch screen capable anymore....... the head unit suffered too much water damage, and I'm too cheap to replace it.

if they make the poison Spyder Custom rock sliders for a ZJ (never looked) I'd get those.

do it right the first time, spend the cash, do the V8 conversion...... you're still getting a good solid jeep, and a brand new engine.

Clarion VR925XD or something like that....... it's a touchscreen dvd player, but after too many days topless in the rain, it's "quirky" and the touchscreen no longer works.... but it still plays dvd's and MP3's

it doesn't play Blu-Ray in the same resolution..... my tv supports 1080I, (Aquos) and the PS3 plays 1080P, the blu-ray dvd player supports the 1080I....... now "what" the difference is......... you got me! I don't even have digital cable!!!!!!

Willie got those shrooms from the Red Rocks show..... he HAD to....... everyone at that show (and the two YMSB shows the two days before) had fungus...... I flew out to Red Rocks from OHIO for my bachelor party.....first trip to CO, fun place..... god bless Willie!
