Turn your key to on position. Wait a minute or two. If you hear a click and it starts it is the computer. I had a similar problem on my 95 wrangler and replaced computer . All worked then. My jeep was a 4 cylinder. Hope it helps. Mike

Thanks for the input. We are replacing the oil pump and dropping the oil pan is a bear. An exhaust pipe runs accross the oil pan and runs back thru catalyic converter into muffler. You know to disconnect the muffler is not going to just pull apart. I can not believe they engineered the jeep...

I just purchased a 97 jeep wrangler sahara. I noticed a leak from the transfer case area. i know I will need to drop the skid pan to see better the leak. Has anyone also experienced this leak and is the fix extensive before i START ? THANKS FOR ANY HELP OR IDEAS.

I will try your advice. I did once before disconnect the return off the fuel filter to a container abd it would start briefly. I did find my rubber fuel line hoses are shoot and am replacing them now. Again thanks for advice and I will let you know. Mike

I can only tell you what I would do. I have a 95 wrangler 2.5L standard shift. You have replaced the obvious items but are you getting fuel to the injectors. If it cranks as you stated I would also check the fuel delivery and for dirty injectors as to rough idle and stalling. I went through a...

I have a 1989 jeep wrangler yj with a 6 cylinder 258 cid engine. I have replaced and /or rebuilt the carburetor two times. I saw Quadratec has a Weber 34 DGEC carburetor for the 258 engine. Has anyone installed one and how has it worked? I appreciate any help. Thanks!

A friend of mine used a 4" lift on his 2000 tj jeep. In doing so he lost use of fifth gear. A jeep tech told him he needs to replace gears in transmission. That sounds drastic to me. ANY COMMENTS !!! Thanks:crazy:

We bought bestops for our jeeps- 89 and 5 wranglers. Not the supertops but cost enough. We live in Florida and in less than a year the threads all tour apart. I am having to resew with heavy thread. Really disappointed with Bestop Quality.
