Forget the LS1 and turbo it.

    Long crank times before startup

My first instinct would say poor fuel pressure. But, I went through this with my '03 Wrangler. I checked everything over and over and over. It turned out my starter was bad. I replaced it and then no issues after that.

    4.0L Stroker help?

I did a turbo for a friend with the Hesco 4.7 stroker. Before I did the install, I took it for a ride. The 4.7 makes some serious power. I was very impressed.

If they didnt throw some snake oil in with the package you'd think you were getting ripped off

    4.0L Engines

    newly acuired project

The L67 is the 2nd generation supercharged v6 3.8L. It is a bad ass motor with some serious potenital. Never seen one in a jeep before but it should bolt in.

    snorkel kit 88yj?

+1 If you need a snorkel then you would have water above the level of the carb intake. I would be very cautious if I were you.

Do throttle body spacers really work?

Spacer for a Carb will work. It allows the air and fuel to mix slightly more than without one. Fuel Injection forutnatly does not need it becuase the injectors do it for you after the throttle body.

Do throttle body spacers really work?

Honestly, yes. I made a cold air intake that completley changed how my jeep came out of the hole for $30. I am in no way discouraging anyone from experimenting. A TBS could work more idealy on a V8 or V6 manifold, but the way the i6 manifold is set up it shouldnt work. Once air hits the long...

Do throttle body spacers really work?

I'm one of the few that really pushed for more street use than off-road. And, not to say/act I know everything about jeeps, but, In my own experience at the track or on the street, the things that worked well were: Exhaust modification (wrapping the header, larger headpipe, high flow mufflers...

    Banks Ram-Air Intake - Wrangler?

In my experience it does. You can noticibly feel the the engine being heatsoaked by hot air. Maybe I'm just obsessive about it.

    Banks Ram-Air Intake - Wrangler?

Just adding a normal cone filter inside the engine compartment is great for everyday drivers, but when you are doing slower off roading you will be sucking in huge amounts of very hot very thin air. The Jeep's i-6 does not take well to humid hot air.

    Banks Ram-Air Intake - Wrangler?

Before I went forced induction, I cut a hole on the passenger side fender and ran a 3" pipe to it and had the filter on the outside of the engine compartment. Made a HUGE difference.

    Questions for forced injection guys

Imho, 7th injectior is the way to go if you dont have the moola to throw at the jeep. For a little bit of fine tunning, you could definalty use a map adjuster.

    Custom Turbo Setup

Like I said earlier, that was on a closed private road 8). Definalty not in Dedham. More on the worcester side of the metro west area. The jeep is long gone unfortunatly. Anyone interested in doing this to their rig I would be more than happy to help.

    Custom Turbo Setup

I had an SSEi. I loved that car. But as to your question, the 7th injector setup worked perfectly for me. Nice and Rich.
