I have a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee, the car cranks up but wont start unless i press the brakes all the way down. After cranking and cranking and holding down the brakes it'll start but thats only after 5 to 10 seconds of cranking. Once you rev or drive the car it'll go but you constantly have to hold down the brakes, if you let go of the brake it'll shut off. This is very weird behavior. I tried looking up any codes using an OBD2 scanner but no luck. There's no information stored on the computer. Someone told me that the Computer might be damaged and that everything was erased but im not sure. Does anyone have any tips for me. thanks in advance!! and happy jeeping.
