4.0 and 4.2

What parts from a 4.0 will replace parts from a 4.2?? my friend wrecked her jeep and i am wondering what parts i can get..how hard would it be to swap the roll bars? she has a 90 model with the longer roll bars. thanks for the help

combine the 2 engine and build yourself a stroker 4.0! The kits are alot of money, you would be saving yourself some cash if you had both engines.

a 1990 YJ didn't have the 4.0 or the longer rollbars. :?

You must have the year wrong.

1991 - first year for the 4.0L in a YJ

1992 - first year for the longer rollbars on a YJ

If it has both a 4.0L and the longer rollbars it must be a '92-'95 if it is a YJ.
