4x4 Posi-Lok

I have apparently lost my vaccum controlled 4x4 motor. I have suction and it tries to work but won't engage. So i've decided to replace the unit. I have read/heard good things about the 4x4 Posi-Lok kits. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with these. If so, how did it work for you, and how was the install? Mind you I am a college student but I can probably get access to just about any tools since I am at a primarily engineering school. Thanks

i did the bike brake cable swap - works as good as the cable so dont go cheap there... also find a good throttle lever for the control part - do a search and you'll find the writeup i used - pretty simple w/basic hand tools - takes a couple hours and lots less $$$ than the posi-lok check it out: http://home.earthlink.net/~stevenschreiber/cabledis.htm
