Things I would do to it if money and time existed for me:
1) get custom exhaust pipe from manifold to converter.I had
to get it out of the garage that I rebuilt the jeep in so the pipe
was heated up and bent to go around the custom transmission
mount. it works just doesn't look to preatty.
2) Wheel alignment, needs it.
3) dual shifter needs a boot cover made for it.
4) I wanted to mount the cage to the frame at the rear and front
of it ( mounted to frame behind seats) but ran out of time.
5) KEEP IT.
6) upgrade carb. It has a manual choke and well it just sucks.
but it runs.

Runs good, stops good, looks great.

Are you Jeepless now? :(

Nope. I have '94 Cherokee and my other half has her TJ. I may get rid of the XJ and get a Grand Cherokee in the not to distant future.

Whatever happened to that monster of a YJ you were building?

Never had a YJ. A guy at work has one that he blew up the motor too and it is rusted to death. I was going to try to get that but....
Cool thing was its a right hand drive...

I think I remember who you are thinking of. White jeep with huge tires and he changed the axles to 1 ton? His name escapes me at the moment....

BryanJeep.....just dawned on me when you posted that! For some reason, he got ticked off at us during Katrina, and never came back. Still don't know why he got mad, he wouldn't ever say........:(
