95 Wrangler.nl spark

Assuming you mean spark plug spark... you shouldn't get spark without the battery connected.
If you mean elsewhere, that's good, cause it would likely catch fire from the sparking.

If you disconnected and reconnected the battery and no longer have spark I'd start by checking fuses.

Maybe a little more description.

Yes I meant no plug spark I checked all my grounds they seem fine, do you know if a positive battery terminal disconnect can short out the crank sensor??? This yj 2.5 liter has sat for 3 years.. and I have replaced the engine recently, was running fine until battery disconnected..
Thank you
Bill

All fuses ok?
All sensors should withstand disconnecting the battery.
Looking at the crank sensor is not a bad idea. If it failed the battery disco is coincidental.
Validate the distributor, rotor and cap are ok.
Verify coil voltage to the coil.
CPS could be bad as well.

Only use OEM sensors.
