follow the 4.0 L misfire. I am kinda the same boat, I am gonna remove my throttle body and cleaned it since it got all dirty and the I will check the injectors and I will check the idle air sensor, if not them then the head all though it should be ok. really though I think these engines suck.

Well it's a ignition control module. What type distributor do you have OEM? What year is your Jeep?

My jeep is a 1997 wrangler don't know if it's a sport or what, all badges were removed for the different paint. It's a 4.0 the distributor is OEM.
