A Dazzling Entrance....

Ok, so we finally got some rain here in the Breadbasket after being in a severe drought since....gosh, I don't know when, close to a year I think. Anyways, I had to stop for gas on the way home, and as I pulled into the station, I was running about 25mph, downshifted into second as I made the turn, and WOOOP!!! I was backwards facing the road again.....completely embarrassed. The station was full of people getting gas, and I'm pretty sure they all saw me spin a 270 in the drive on my way in. So, I nonchalantly pulled up to the pumps and started pumping gas. That's when I noticed the hot chick on the other side of the pumps staring at me with a sly smile on her face. I just looked at her and sheepishly shrugged my shoulders and she said, "I always had a thing for guys that could make a dazzling entrance wherever they went." So, we chatted for a bit while I filled up, then as I was getting ready to go in and pay, she asked for my phone number and wanted to know if she could call me to go wheeling sometime with me. Oh, my beating heart....she was a real hottie, but I'm very, very, very happily married and had to tell her that. Then it was her turn to get embarrassed and apologize for not seeing my ring. At least I know I've still got it. Well, actually, to be honest, I never had it to begin with, but it's nice to know I had it for at least a few minutes today.:p

What a day.......8)

Hahahahhaah. yeah, I had a similar experience when it snowed like mad up here. Mudders and snow = bad. I couldn't stop at a stop sign and ended up in the middle of the intersection and then couldn't get traction to get out of the interesection. Luckily, it was late...so I only had like 4-5 people watching me.

That's why I bought the darn AT's.
