annoying rear view

Every month the rear view mirror in my YJ falls off. I've tried many different kits to get it up again always with the same results. Longest time was 3 months from some PL Construction adhesive. Most of the times it falls off when I close the door. Anyone know some kinda of super adhesive for these things? It makes me crazy.

Do they have a bracket that mounts directly to the windshield frame so I can avoid the glass completely?

since the visors are not really any good, why not get one of those long mirrors that mount differently then a glue on mirror. i think they are called wink mirrors. they go all the way across the window

Are you using rear view mirror adhesive for it?

It may be that the mirror side is so dirty that it won't stick. You'll need to clean that really well.

If you get desperate, just buy a new mirror from the local parts store, clean the window extremely well and start from scratch.

Yeah they were rear view mirror kits. I've cleaned everything really well. It is a newer mirror, I've had it for about a year.

Those wink mirrors look like they are too much for me to handle.
