Anyone used one of these?

After reading about it I sort of liked it...after seeing the price...

I will stick with my 60$ hi-lift. At least I have the added bonus of using it to winch me out of a place ot two. Now if it was a little cheaper, oh heck ya I would buy it

I've seen ads for them quite a bit recently. When I worked for EMS, our rescue truck carried similar airlift bags, only they were quite a bit heavier construction. A SCOT airpack bottle (the air tanks the firemen use to go into burning buildings) would usually inflate two or three of them. They had a lift range of 18", but were flat and stackable. One bag could lift a semi 18". They were used for lifting vehicles off patients, stabilizing vehicles, and even as spreaders to move sheetmetal out of the way for rescuing victims in vehicles. That one looks kinda chincy to me, especially for the price. However, I'd much rather use one of those in mud or sand than a Hi-Lift jack. The broader base wouldn't sink in like a jack would.....but yeah, too much wampum.

My thought exactly. Creative idea but...

ARB unit = $239
Hi-Lift = $48 (Tractor Supply Co)

and, you can't use the airbag as a come-a-long ;)

Ya, there's several companies out there making that same sort of thing. They work awesome...but only if you want to throw down that kind of money!

Great creative thinking...

But simply because the name of it starts with a huge, unorthodox font "X", I wouldn't ever get one. Too many things use "X" in them. I won't ever buy anything that is "X-treme". Everything these days has to have a bit X in it. The X will usually be larger than the rest of the type, and will have the appearance of a splatter, or a slice, or something "cool".

Yeah, I remember back in the day when anything with an X meant you were going to see some booty.....

If anybody wants an airbag I'll gladly send you my Mother-In-Law.

Hmmm, nice gesture but unfortunately I already have one of those.

using the tail pipe to blow the bag up....so simple, it makes you wanna smack yerself in the face. Sigh, I need a gimmick like that.

Really, how hard could that be to make?

Yeah, you figure out a way to run all of your various air powered accessories with exhaust and you'll be a millionaire

That would be sweet if one could come up with a way to air up tires using the exhaust!!

I think your question doesn't quite belong in this thread! You'll probably get some good answers if you start a new thread!
