Severe pain in lower abdomen. Trip to the hospital. Kidney stones. I'll just say that everything you heard about it being extremely painful is true. I'm diluted with dilauded. hehehe
Left the hospital feeling no pain, but it's started again.
Called the only pain a man can experience that compares to childbirth. Usually they (docs) allow them to pass on their own. Sometimes they will try to break them up sonically into smaller pieces so they will pass naturally. Pain is when they are trying to move. My sympathy to you man. I see these things all the time working as a med tech. Hang tough and think of the fun wheeling you can look forward to.

I've seen childbirth. If given the choice, I'd pass another stone!
Still hurtin'. Been avoiding taking the pain killers so far, cause I want to be able to drive my bucket truck the day I return to work. Have an appointment with a specialist tomorrow .
Lots of things can. An excess of calcium (dairy products) and dehydration to name a couple.
I like a bowl of cereal at breakfast and I love having ice creamwith the kids. We have an old fashioned ice cream truck that comes around with soft-serve. I work outside and many times I really don't drink as much as I should when I'm in the heat. After this ordeal you can bet the cereal and ice cream will be occasional and I'm going to drink more H2O from now on.
