MikeB New member Nov 23, 2005 #1 i have an 87 yj with a 4.2, it only wants to run when i have the choke on, as soon as i take it off it dies ( by the way, i have a manual choke,) could this be a vacuum problem, or the carb itself? if i run it like this am i going to hurt anything?
