Delta Tires?

Anybody familiar with this brand? I was getting new tires put on the work van yesterday and was looking at their Mud Terrain tires....great looking tread pattern, very similar in looks to the BFG MT, but the center lugs were siped. The guy there said he'd knock $120 off a set for me since we do all our company trucks there. About $550 installed. Anybody ever seen, read about, or run these?

Never heard of 'em Sparky, but then, I've never hear of "Aurora's" either (the brand I'm currently running - thank you, eBay). With me, it always comes down to the $$$$ in the end.............sure, I consider the tread, the siping, the sidewalls, the wear and load ratings..........but in the end, $$$$ usually decides. I've got 30K plus on mine and have plenty of wear left....love the traction and the roadability. I know that's not a whole lotta help, but I won't pay $250 for a tire just because it says "Goodyear". Ask the guy his opinion, just see what he's got to say.

cheapa$$ mud

If you don't need tough sidewalls then I don't see that it will matter too much, as long as the warranty is a good one.

I'm kind of a tire snob, not loyal to any one brand, but I stay away from the generics. You can add a lot of quality for an extra $15-20 a tire. Id rather run good retreads than generic new ones, especially since you'll save $100 a set on the retreads over the generics.
