Flat Fender Conversion

What kind of cost are we looking at for a flat fender conversion? I would love to have that!!!

After my deer incident last weekend, I have an insurance appt thursday hopefully. I don't know if my insurance company would even give me a check instead of repairing but I'll ask. Many people I have talked to said thier insurance company offered that option but in today's world I find that hard to believe.

Just for kicks though, I have a link to poison spyder, but what else can I find? I'm sure you all have links you can help me out with.

Anyone have ideas on the fender conversion? Keep in mind I'm a girl with no tools. I do have access to a mechanic in the family.

RE: OT- PS2 Poker Online

Lady, if you get an estimate for the repairs from a body shop (which I highly recommend you do before going to the insurance co) then they should pay that amount less you're deductable. If they feel it is an unreasonable amount they may request you get 2 additional quotes from other repair places to substantiate the first one.

It is you're right to have the work done anywhere you choose. They CAN NOT tell you you have to take it to Bud and Earl's Garage for instance. If you get estimate(s) then they should write you a check and you can legally do with that check whatever you want whether that be have the Jeep repaired, fix it yourself, or leave it damaged and go skiing with the money - it is after all yours.

Free, Gimme a swing at 'er and she'll be all cut up in no time!

That first link with the green TJ looked sweet. I didn't really care for the aftermarket pre-made versions though.

RE: Re: RE: Steering box, comment & question.

Thanks much guys!! I will look over these links tonight. I have an appt at the shop tomorrow. Twisted I would love to get other quotes but I just haven't had time this week. Things are insane at work and there was a death in my family as well.

Someone on my local club sent me a link to ebay where they have something for sale there. I don't know what I am looking at though. I did look at the Poison link. They have 300 without edges, and 400 with. Seems pricey.

I'll get back to you. Thanks again

JPS, that does look SICK. I am so jealous. And a circular saw too, how funny.

I have bad news though. Doesn't look like lady will get her flat fenders. I just came from the insurance agent and they said in my state that if you have a lein on your vehicle you have to have the repairs made and the vehicle put in the same shape it was before the accident. I know that no shop or agent is going to certifiy flat fenders to Chrysler financial. There was 1400 dollars worth of damage, mosly replacement parts and the new paint.

Sigh  Thank you for all the links. I am going to keep them on hand!Lady
