Fuel tank install

Need help,,, i have 1943 willys it has tank under seat,,, i found a tank out of 1986 cj7 that fits under rear seat between the frame

this tank has 2 inlet tubes i biger one about 1 1/2 inch and smaller about 3.4 inch ,,, i am sure the bigger is for filling ,,, what about the smaller one ????

on top where the sending unit goes it has 2 fuel lines coming in ,,,,

my tank under the front seat only has one line that goes to the fuel pump

best way to hook this up

The 3/4" hose is the vent that runs back up to the top of the fill tube.
Not sure about the two lines on the top of the tank but one should be a supply and the other could be a vent, return or smog

Don, that is correct. I capped the smog/vent on mine and have had no issues.
