Gears Again

I know it's been asked before, and I tried a search but couldn't find it. To find out what gears are in, the numbers are inscribed on the differential somewhere, I remember, but where? I'm curious to know what gearing I have after looking at the numbers on my diff.

Do you have the metal tag or do you have the manufacturer code off of the tube?
The metal tag that is on the cover bolt will tell you either by the ratio or by tooth count. Example: 43 14 means that it has 43 teeth on the ring gear and 14 on the pinion. Divide 43 by 14 and you get 3.07. Or it may simply state 3.07.
I believe Bounty had the manufacturers codes if that is the number you have.

Anyone ever been to Superlift Offroad park in Hot Springs?

If you want to you can PM me your vin# and i can run it here in work to get you the ratio. Or your local dealer parts dept. could do the same thing.

Your D35 should have a tag on the diff cover. The gear ratio should be the first #'s, like 3.55 or 4.10, etc

N.E. Tennessee Ride this Saturday (May 8th)

Is it an auto or a manuel?
