Going newer... Got Questions.

I'm not making the connection here. how will the speedometer being correct be able to tell me the gas mileage? unless the bigger wheels also affect the distance traveled on the odometer? ahh....maybe I just answered my own question. Although, even at the original MPG numbers the truck should still do better. plus, it's a far more comfortable ride.

RE: q and a

im with mud, i wouldnt trade my 4banger for anything, its treated me right and gotten me through too much to divorce it

yes i love it enough to use the word divorce! plus its also lightweight, me and my buddy picked up a block today for him to rebuild and just lifted it into the jeep! theyre all around better, cheaper to rebuild, less parts to go wrong, and theyre still full of torque!

Did YJ's ever come with factory AC?

A/C was never an integral part of the CJ/YJ. They were sold on the lot with the underdash a/c units as an option.
