Hello all.

New to your sign maybe someone can help me.

I recently purchased a fog light kit from a vender. I was thinking that I purchased the add-on kit. When package got here it was the complete head light/fog light wiring harness. Is there anyway to use this harness? I hooked it into, what I thought was the location where the harness should plug in and replaced the headlight switches on the steering wheel. But they still don't work. Can anyone help me rewire this and make this kit work.

Thanks.

Is it a mopar add on?, If it is then it should work. If it's NOT a mopar add on, then you might not be able to use all of the wiring on the kit. Most of Chrysler, Dodge and Jeeps built after 01 would have the wiring harness already routed to it's location for an optional installation after the vehicle has been ordered without that option. There is an 80% chance that your liberty already has the wiring installed on the location of the fog lamp opening. Let me know more about the details on the kit you purchased and the specs. on the lamps so we can go further into the wiring details.

It's not really an add-on. It's an actual harness that was removed from a 04 jeep. I removed the grill and plugged the harness into the harness that is right behind the grill. i thought maybe I had plugged it into the wrong harness so I removed it because the parking lights are the only ones that came on. But I did notice that the harness on my liberty didn't have a electric connector inside the harness that the one I recieved had. Let me know if you need more info

Thanks

Below is a pic of the harness. I wonder if the lights are bad, or something like that?

Thanks

If you have a multimeter, switch it to the continuity test mode and test the bulbs if they are good. I need the color codes of the wires on that harness thats on the pic. Please describe them the way they are layed out on the picture.
