idle...

how do i adjust the idle on my '88 YJ? it is idleing really really low... like in the 400s... can anybody help? and does anybody know where i can get a belt for the power steering for real cheap???

I don't know Carters well, but if you follow the throttle cable to the carb, there should be a stop screw there.
As far as belts, I got my alternator belt from autozone for 20ish. Is that cheap?

hmm... well, for one thing its fuel injected. no carburetor...


and i guess 20 is cheap... idk. i dont currently have a job and im in high school...

Oh, well... in that case, I have no clue. Maybe TPS sensor? Just spitting stuff out here.

It's fuel injected 4 cyl? Or someone swapped a 4.0L in? '88 was carbed from the factory.
