I am going to try to have a machine shop next to my work make my tie rod and draglink. What type of metal should I use? All I am really going to have them do is thread the inside of the metal tube. NO, I am not going to do a high steer right now because I cannot afford it. I am trying to make the stock knuckles on the 44 work. Should I buy the dropped YJ arm or the stock Wagoneer arm? If I buy the Waggy arm, don't I need to do somethinkg to it? Help me please :?

I'd use DOM and get the weld-in threaded inserts for the ends. You can get them in left and right hand threads.

get the drag link bent in an s shape to clear your springs. rubicon express can build you one too. and yes the zj arm is good, im running one but even with 2 inch springs i had to figure something out. i saw potential in a tj drag link and did some cutting and welding and made a bent drag link
