hey guys i have an 88 yj sahara and its got the crappy dura spark in it. i just upgraded to the mc2150 carb and it runs good. the engine is fresh and is bored out .040" over and i was thinking i need better spark. so has anyone done anything with msd or holly ignition moduels? any info on this would be great. and thanks to the guys who pointed me towards the ford carb to begin with.

I went with the GM HEI Dizzy mod.

A google search on "Jeep GM HEI mod" and variations on that search will turn-up numerous other websites that layout this mod for you.

I should state that first-generation GM HEI distributors (with integral vacuum advance) are becoming more scarce than chicken lips.

Better than other 258 c.i., I-6 ignition mods? Who knows?
