I just did the heater hose valve deletion by installing '97 hoses, which don't allow for an inline switch into my '96 XJ, and now when I'm on the road wind blows through my now constantly hot heater core and into the cabin. How can I stop this?
First idea is to find some kind of inline valve that I can install and just manually open and close according to when I need heat.
Second idea is to block the floor vents, which is where it mostly comes out.
Does anyone even make a manual valve that's suitable to put in my heater hose?
Thanks.
