The Jeep® brand has chosen the winners of its "6th Man" contest, which was designed to honor two individuals who selflessly dedicate their time to make a positive impact in their local communities.

The contestants will be recognized as the honorary "6th Man" and "6th Woman" during the USA Basketball Men's National Team exhibition game in Las Vegas on Thursday, July 12. Each winner will receive a $20,000 donation made directly to the charity of their choice.

The Jeep brand asked its Facebook fans to nominate individuals by submitting an entry that explained how that person exemplified their "Power Within" by serving others in their communities through personal sacrifice, humble spirit, integrity, courage and leadership. Three men and three women finalists were selected and each finalist was then the subject of a two-minute video vignette shot in their hometown by a professional production team to showcase how each finalist has made a contribution to their community. The videos were posted to the Jeep Facebook page and voted on by the Jeep community to select the final winners.

"The Jeep brand is proud to honor these individuals who have gone above and beyond to give themselves, their time and energy to improve the lives of others" said Mike Manley, President and CEO - Jeep Brand. "It is a privilege and an incredible inspiration to support those who use their power with a purpose to serve their community in a meaningful way."
