KC daylighters

I got some KC daylighters for Christmas. They have the small changeable bulb . I guess they are halogen. I bought a set on E-bay and the yhave a full size sealed beam light in them. Can anyone tell me the difference in these two? which is better , brightest, ans more durable?

All I've found out on the internet is market hype and how many baja racers cross the finish line with KC.

The orgianls are the sealed beam type. come in 100 and 150 watt as far as I know. The new type you speak of I have no experence with. However the old school daylighters are some tough lights. tug
