I have a bent front spring need to know how to do a swap from a junk yard is there any web pages with step by step intrusions or do any of you know thanks for the help[addsig]

Swapping a spring is easy. But if you're a Jeep owner, you need to get a Haynes manual. It has step by step instructions for everything on your Jeep from Jacking it up to yanking out your transmission. It's only $12 at the parts store. What kind of Jeep is it, YJ or CJ? Which axle, front or back? We need more info to help you.

front passenger side. the jeep is a 92 yj the axle housing hit the shock and put a small dent in the shock should that be replaced[addsig]

replacing leaf springs is just a matter of unbolting them and rebolting them. if the shock you have (the dented one) still moves freely and isn't leaking anything, it should be fine. i'd be skeptical of replacing just one... if one is new and the other 3 are used, it might make the handling a little screwy. if you need to replace it, at least replace both on the same axle.
