Long Distance Comfort

Just wondering if any of you tall guys have the same leg comfort problems as I do while driving a long distance. My TJ doesn't have cruise control, and my right leg cramps up at the angle it's in. I saw the Misch Big Boy Seat Brackets that gives you 4 more inches to slide the seat back. Anyone ever used anything like this? Pro, cons, does it help? I've been on the road all morning and just got home..... My friggen leg is killin me.

How tall are you? I'm 5' 9" and don't really have any problems. I think if I slid the seat back another 4 inches I'd have problems reaching the pedals

What type of shoes do you normally wear? I could see if you were trying to drive in work boots, where you couldn't move your ankle as much - that may cause some problems.

5'9"?! Geez, i feel like a Midget. i think im having a complex problem.lol. im only 5'7". anyway, from my experience driving different Models of Jeeps, the worst of e'm all i think is the KJ Liberty. The company provides me the Transportation to and from Houston Chrysler Academy and sometimes Dallas. either way it's a 5 hr. drive for me. My "Short " legs starts to cramp up 45mins into the drive with that Liberty. haven't had any problems with the other Models though.

I'm 6'3"-6'4" somewheres in that neighborhood. I just know my leg cramps up somthin awful. On the way back from Our summer Vacation at Gatlinburg, We stopped in at the Bass Pro and the decore pillow my girlfriend bought came in handy on the way home when I had to put it between my right leg and the seat to make it back to the house. :) I wear New Balance or converse about 95% of the time.

Yea, I made a deal with her. I stopped at some little Amish store, she filled the back of the jeep full of stuff, then we got to stop at Bass Pro, I bought another fishin rod and some line. LOL!!!! That little ole pillow did come in handy though. Honestly, that was well worth the time spent lookin at that Amish stuff.

I'm 6'6" and on Sunday I drove 10.5 hours with only stops for gas. I had no leg trouble but then I have cruise control and used it most of the way. I would imagine if I didn't have cruise I would be in trouble with some leg pain like you describe.
