Low on gas

I have a 95 yj with the 2.5, completly stock and i am averaging anywhere from 14-16 mpg. Is this normal or is there something wrong?

That sounds about right to me. My '88 got 10mpg on stock size tires.

Maybe someone else will dissagree.

My 6cyl gets somewhere in teh area of 20mpg on the highway.... but 33's and 307's will do that!

Have you tried removing the restrictor tube from the intake? I was getting around 15mpg with 31's before I did that, now I consistently get 20-22mpg.

You should be getting closer to 17-19, there's many things you can do to improve it. But it's a rolling brick and a lot also depends on your driving style/habits.

That sounds kinda low for the 2.5. You should be doing better than that.
