If anybody can help me I have a 99 tj with a 2.5L 4 cylinder i have came across a 4.0 and auto trans from a 05 rubicon for a good price. I am getting everything out of the rubi, what all does it take to make this swap. I heard that you have to change the dash out, will none of the plug hook up or is it just because of the tach? I am aware of the spline count on the transfer case but do not under stand why the drive shafts will not work, unless the 6 cyl puts the transfer back further. Also what will have to be changed with the fuel system? I would appreciate any help.
