Hello every one!! I have been out of the JEEP sene since I owned a CJ5 back in High School (earley 70's). Allways wanted another. Now it's time! I am looking at buying a 2005 TJ Wrangler. On the passanger side is a sticker that says "Rocky Mountain Edition". I noticed that it has a two tone dash, cloth seats with JEEP logo, and 30x9.5 tires. Any thing else I need to know? The man selling it co-singed for his brother-in-law and got stuck, dosen't know alot about it. Any help would be welcome. Thank you.

Welcome back to Jeeps and welcom to Jeepz!

The Rocky Mountain Edition is probably just what you mentioned. A sticker, Jeep logo seats and two tone dash and 30 inch tires. The rest is pure Jeep just like the rest of us. It's pretty new and should have low miles so I can't think of anything else to be warry of.

Good luck and have fun.

A quick Google on that option turned up this:

The Jeep Wrangler Rocky Mountain Edition is based on the X package. Equipped with a manual transmission, the MSRP is $23,025; with the automatic transmission, $23,850. Features include:

* Color-keyed fender flares
* 15" Ravine aluminum wheels
* 30" x 9.5" Goodyear Wrangler OWL tires
* Dana 44 axle
* Fog lamps
* Unique center console accents
* Unique premium two-tone seat with embroidered Jeep logo
* AM/FM/CD with seven speakers
* Unique Rocky Mountain Edition decal

Besides the fancy decals and accents at least you got a Dana 44 rear axle.
